Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai slams Pakistan for airstrikes in Kabul and Paktika

Kabul, Oct 10 (UNI) Former Afghan president Hamid Karzai blasted Pakistan's airstrikes on Kabul and Paktika province, calling the unwarranted attacks a blatant violation of the country's sovereignty, as well as a breach of international law. He further cautioned that such actions could have "grave consequences for regional stability."
In a statement on his X, Karzai decried the "bloody and reckless" bombings by Islamabad, and urged its authorities to "reconsider its destructive policies toward Afghanistan."
Laying strong emphasis on the need for respecting a neighbouring country's territorial sovereignty and integrity, he stressed that Pakistan must respect Afghanistan's territorial rights, and honour the principles of good-neighbourly relations, warning that continued aggression would only serve to aggravate tensions and inflict further suffering on civilians.
