Former Kerala CM's daughter appears before ED in CMRL money laundering probe

Kochi, June 17 (UNI) Veena Vijayan, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office here on Wednesday for questioning in connection with the alleged money laundering investigation linked to the CMRL-Exalogic financial transactions.
Veena arrived at the ED office at around 10.28 am in a black car, accompanied by her husband and former Kerala Public Works and Tourism Minister P.A. Mohammed Riyas. Wearing a black face mask, she entered the central agency's office amid tight security and intense media attention.
Police stopped the vehicle outside the ED office's main gate, citing security protocols, and did not permit it to enter the premises. Veena then got out of the vehicle and walked briskly into the office without responding to questions from waiting journalists.
