Gabe Hogan, Aida Osman added to Will Ferrell's forthcoming golf comedy

Los Angeles, Jan 14 (UNI) Gabe Hogan and Aida Osman have come on board an upcoming golf-themed comedy series led by Will Ferrell, taking on recurring roles in what marks the actor's first scripted 10-episode comedy venture for television.
Hogan and Osman join a previously announced ensemble that includes Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, David Hornsby, and Luke Wilson, reports DEADLINE.
Set in the world of professional golf, the series follows Lonnie 'The Hawk' Hawkins, a once dominant figure in the sport whose reputation still precedes him.
Shannon will play Lonnie's foul-mouthed ex-wife, Stacy; Tatro is Lonnie's son Lance, an incredible pro golfer in his own right; Feimster is Sam, a new caddie and possible good luck charm; Parnell is Anton, a PGA Tour board member and all-around jerk; Tarver is Natalie, a social media influencer and Lance's extremely supportive fiancée; Hornsby as Radford, a rich Southern man who is dating Stacy; and Wilson as a pro golfer who rivals Lonnie, having beaten him for the tour championship twice.
Hogan will play Jerry, Lance's personal trainer, and Osman will play Crystal, Lance's childhood friend.
The series is being produced for Netflix, with Ferrel, Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor serving as executive producers under the Gloria Sanchez Productions banner. Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman and Nena Rodrigue are executive producers for T-Street. Chris Henchy, Harper Steele, David Gordon Green and Andrew Guest will also serve as executive producers.
Hogan most recently starred as Peter Morris in the Canadian series Heartland from CBC, created by Murray Shostak. Before that, he played Ike Crystal in TruTV's Tacoma FD across the show's four seasons as a series regular. Additional TV credits include Warehouse 13 (Syfy), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), NCIS (CBS), Teen Wolf (MTV) and Raven's Home (Disney Channel).
Osman most recently made her TV debut as a lead actor in Issa Rae's HBO Max comedy series Rap Sh!t (HBO Max) in the role of Shawna Clark, and appeared in Hulu's Ramy. In addition to her acting work, Osman also served as a staff writer on the Miami-set series, Rap Sh!t, which ran for two seasons. Her writing could also be seen in Netflix's Big Mouth and the HBO teen comedy Betty, about girl skaters.
