GHRISTU Pune expands worldwide with UK University collaboration

Pune, Jan 24 (UNI) G H Raisoni International Skill Tech University, Pune, organized an international academic collaboration meeting with Lencart University, United Kingdom, marking a significant step toward strengthening global academic partnerships.
The meeting concluded in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting student development, skill enhancement, research cooperation, and international academic exchange. Lencart University delegates visited the Raisoni university campus.
Prof. Leena Sodha from Lencart University, UK, addressed the gathering and underlined the growing importance of international collaborations in higher education. She observed that while Western education systems contribute advanced technological expertise, Eastern education systems offer rich cultural values and holistic perspectives, and the exchange between the two creates a balanced and progressive learning ecosystem.

BMC targets major tax defaulters owing ₹1,500 crore, Seizure notices served to 48 entities

Mumbai, Feb 14 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has intensified its action against large property tax defaulters, issuing seizure notices to 48 major entities within a week over outstanding dues amounting to Rs 1,500 crore. On Saturday, the civic body released a fresh list naming the 20 biggest defaulters, which include prominent real estate developers, mills and other establishments that have collectively failed to clear substantial arrears.
