Gratitude  take a bow: Sidhu to supporters

Chandigarh, Apr 2 (UNI) Former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday expressed gratitude to all those who waited outside Patiala jail on Saturday.

In a tweet, the cricketer-turned-politician said, 'Gratitude ...take a bow to all those who waited since 10 in the morning till 6 in the evening, against all odds.'
Along with the tweet he has posted a video showing glimpses of he being welcomed by his supporters.
Sidhu was released from the Patiala jail on Saturday after spending almost 10 months in a 1988 road rage case. His supporters began reaching in the morning and waited till around 6 pm when he walked out of the jail. Posters and banners were also put up in Patiala welcoming Sidhu, who was removed as Punjab Congress chief after party's rout in assembly elections last year.
