GST rate cuts will boost the economy, says BJP National Spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam

Mumbai, Sep 8 (UNI) The central government’s biggest reform in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) so far will provide a significant boost to the country’s economy, benefit the trade sector, create new employment opportunities, and reduce the burden on the common people, the BJP said today.

There were no signs of growth, policy paralysis prevailed, corruption was rampant, and inflation had skyrocketed.
The tax collection process was complicated and lacked transparency. In such a weak situation, the Modi government revived the economy, he said.
