Harleen blasts UP Warriorz to 7-wicket win

Navi Mumbai, Jan 15 (UNI) Harleen Deol’s blazing 64 not out guided UP Warriorz Women to a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians Women in the 8th match of the Women’s Premier League 2026 at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy on Wednesday.
Opting to field after winning the toss, UP restricted Mumbai Indians to 161 for 5 in 20 overs. Nat Sciver-Brunt played a commanding innings of 65 off 43 balls, while Amanjot Kaur contributed 38, adding stability to the top order. Harmanpreet Kaur chipped in with a brisk 16 off 11 deliveries.
Deepti Sharma, Shikha Pandey, Sophie Ecclestone, and Asha Sobhana Joy shared the wickets, keeping MI’s scoring in check, but Mumbai struggled to accelerate at crucial stages, reaching a total at just over eight runs per over.
