Haryana CM Nayab Saini Alleges Punjab Govt Tried to Stop Rajpura Event, Slams AAP Over Law and Order

Panchkula, June 12 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini on Friday alleged that the Punjab government attempted to obstruct his programme in Rajpura through administrative channels, while also criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over the state's law-and-order situation.
Addressing a Saini community conference in Rajpura, Saini claimed that efforts had been made over the last two days to prevent the event from taking place. "I have come among my family members and community brothers. I did not like this. I had told Mann Sahib not to do such things," he said, referring to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann."
Recalling an earlier visit to Sunam, Saini said he had faced similar resistance when he planned to pay tribute to freedom fighter Shaheed Udham Singh. "When I went to Sunam, the local SSP called my staff and advised me not to visit, saying there was nothing there. I told them that I had only come to pay floral tributes to Shaheed Udham Singh and had no other programme," he said.
