Haryana CM targets Congress over welfare and governance issues

Kaithal, July 13 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini took a jibe at the Congress, stating that if its leaders cannot see the holistic development taking place across the state, “they should consider getting their eyesight tested”.
Addressing the media yesterday evening here, Saini said that during Congress rule citizens had to make rounds of government offices to avail benefits of schemes.
Addressing a press conference in Kaithal, the Chief Minister said that the previous Congress regime was marked with red tape, favouritism in job distribution, and citizens running from office to office. In contrast, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine government in Haryana has ensured transparent, efficient delivery of welfare schemes at the grassroots level.
