Heavy rainfall likely in Andaman & Nicobar Islands in next 24 hours

Pune, Jun 6 (UNI) Conditions are becoming favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more locales of Karnataka, entire Tamil Nadu, some swathes of Rayalaseema & coastal Andhra Pradesh, entire southwest Bay of Bengal, some more sites of central & northeast Bay of Bengal and some zones of northeast India during next 2-3 days, forecast the India Meteorological Department today.
It further said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to pound isolated places in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Mahe, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya during next 24 hours.
Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated parcels in west Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Lakshadweep during the period.
