Himachal: Draft ready to build runway bridge of Kangra airport on Manjhi Khad

Dharamshala, July 16 (UNI) The status of the runway bridge to be built on Manjhi Khad under the expansion project of Kangra Airport in the state will be clear next month. Central Water and Power Research Station (CWPC) Pune and Wapcos Limited are working jointly to build the bridge.
A 135 page draft prepared jointly by the two agencies has been submitted to the government which carries the details of the construction, shape and pillars of the bridge on Manjhi Khad.
Manjhi Khad remains a big challenge for Kàngra airport expansion. CWPC and Wapcos Limited are working jointly to overcome this challenge. Both the agencies have prepared a draft report by designing the bridge. The report has been submitted to the state government. This report will be scrutinized, after which it will be finalized.
