Himachal Govt mulls forming Commando force, establishing police academy in Kangra: CM

Dharamshala , Oct 2 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government has sanctioned 1226 posts of constables in the state and setting up of the Commando force has also been mooted out, said Chief Ministerr Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
He was presiding over the passing out parade function at Police Training College Daroh on Sunday.
Sukhu said the Government is committed to modernising the police department through fresh technological initiatives. Sufficient residential accommodation will be provided to the police force on priority basis.
