HP: 2 die of drowning in 24 hrs

Shimla, May 27 (UNI) Two persons were killed in two separate incidents of drowning in Himachal Pradesh within 24 hours amid rising temperatures in the hilly state.
While one took place in the Beas river of Kullu district, the other was in the Tons River (a tributary of the Yamuna) in Sirmaur district.
A woman identified as Ruchi Tiwari, 23, from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, slipped into the Beas while taking selfies near Nehru Kund, approximately four kilometre from Manali.
