HP bans glue board and sticky traps

Shimla, Jan 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government on Friday banned the manufacturing, sale and use of glue boards or sticky traps in the state being used as a non-lethal substance for restraining rodents or pests.
The govenrment took the decision following an appeal from People for the Ethical treatment of Animals (PETA).
PETA stated in a press release that it sought a ban on the manufacture, sale, and use of cruel and illegal gestation and farrowing crates in pig farming.
