HPSPCB organises environmental awareness camps to promote Green Diwali

Dharamshala, Oct 17 (UNI) On the occasion of Diwali, the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board (HPSPCB), Regional Office Dharamshala, organised environmental awareness camps at Government High School, Chatehad (Yol), and Government Senior Secondary School.
Various competitions were held to educate the students about environmental protection, and prizes were distributed to the winners by E. Varun Gupta, Assistant Environmental Engineer, HPSPCB.
Addressing the students, Gupta highlighted the significance of celebrating a "Green Diwali” and urged everyone to refrain from using firecrackers. He emphasized that it is the collective responsibility of all the citizens to ensure a pollution-free and eco-friendly celebration.
