Hyd:Allu Cinemas partners with Freyr Energy to set up 727kW Solar Power System

Hyderabad, May 11 (UNI) Allu Cinemas, Kokapet (Narsingi), and Freyr Energy have partnered to commission a 727kW solar power system at the cinema facility with an investment of Rs 2.27 crore, marking one of the largest solar deployments for a cinema complex in the region.
The solar installation is expected to meet nearly 60 per cent of the cinema's energy requirements and reduce annual electricity costs from around ₹52 lakh to nearly ₹5 lakh, the company said in a release on Monday.
The project is projected to generate annual savings of approximately Rs 77–80 lakh.
