Hyd: Dr Reddy's CFO Narasimham Named 'Best CFO in Pharmaceuticals

Hyderabad, June 10 (UNI) Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. on Wednesday announced that its Chief Financial Officer, M.V. Narasimham, has been honoured with the 'Best CFO in Pharmaceuticals' award at the 9th BW CFO World's Best CFO & Finance Strategy Excellence Awards 2026 organised by Businessworld.
The award recognises Narasimham's contribution to strengthening the pharmaceutical major's finance function and supporting its long-term growth, stability and operational resilience, Hyderabad based pharma giant said in a release here.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Narasimham has been associated with Dr. Reddy's since 2000 and has held several leadership positions across the company's global finance operations.
Before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer, he served as Deputy CFO and was responsible for global commercial business finance and taxation functions across multiple international markets.
Commenting on the recognition, Narasimham said the award reflected the collective efforts of the company's finance team.
"I am truly delighted to receive this award. It is a testament to the strength of our team and our shared commitment to excellence. The BW CFO World's Best CFO & Finance Strategy Excellence Awards recognise finance leaders across industries for outstanding achievements in strategic leadership, financial stewardship, governance and innovation.
Dr. Reddy's said the recognition underscores Narasimham's role in driving financial discipline, business transformation and sustainable growth initiatives within the organisation.
