Una (HP), Oct 1 (UNI) Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said on Sunday the I.N.D.I.A. block will disintegrate soon after the arrest of the Punjab Congress leader and Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister again.
Thakur, who was on a visit to the under-construction PGI Satellite Centre (PGISC), took stock of the progress of work. At the same time, he gave necessary directions to the officials. The minister also admitted that the construction work of PGISC has been delayed due to "certain reasons which would end soon".
Thakur is on a two-day visit to Una and Hamirpur district from Sunday.
He said an OPD will be started in PGI Satellite Center Una by March 2024.
On the ongoing tension between India and Canada, Thakur praised the policies of India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. He said the EAM is moving in the right direction in this matter. Indian interests will not be allowed to be ignored.
The security of Indian students who have gone to Canada to pursue their studies will be ensured. India is strongly presenting its stand regarding this matter.
Talking to reporters, he said that the so-called I.N.D.I.A. alliance will not last long. After the arrest of Punjab Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira, there is increased tension between Congress and the AAP, he claimed.
He said the alliance formed by the opposition against the BJP is not going to last long, and the "process of clashing of utensils with each other has just started and this clash is going to increase further in the future".
Thakur claimed that the central government was doing its best to help the disaster affected people of the state. He asked the Congress-led state government to explain how many people they helped from their share . UNI ZC SSP
