Instructions given to obtain administrative approval before Oct 31: Patil

Sangli, Maharashtra, Oct 18 (UNI) State Minister for Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil said that the deadline for giving administrative approval to the works and schemes under the District Annual Plan was till September, but has been extended to Oct 31.
Patil, who is also district guardian minister, reviewed the functioning of the implementing agencies under the District Annual Plan (General) and District Annual Plan (Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan) today at the district collector office, said that with an extension of one month, the deadline for technical and administrative approval for the district-level works under the general, Scheduled Caste sub-plan and Tribal sub-plan outside the area under the District Annual Plan has been extended till October 31.
Therefore, considering the remaining period and also considering the holiday period, all the implementing agencies should expedite the process of technical and administrative approval. He indicated that a follow-up should be made for this.
