IOC vice president El Moutawakel satisfied with progress of YOG Dakar 2026

Dakar, Nov 9 (UNI) Nawal El Moutawakel, vice president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) expressed her satisfaction with the progress of work on the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) on Friday.
"We are very satisfied with the progress of the work. We visited some of the sites that will host the YOG... We're happy to see that the YOG Organizing Committee is on the right track," she said after visiting the Dakar 2026 Academy, an infrastructure designed to create talent capable of integrating the various organizations.
Work is "progressing very well," she added, noting that the equestrian center and other infrastructures will be delivered on time.
