Iran military declares it 'cannot be defeated', says it has used ceasefire to boost its combat power

Tehran, May 19 (UNI) Iran's military declared Tuesday that "Iran cannot be defeated", stating it has been using its ongoing ceasefire with US as a period to boost its combat power, and as a preparing period for the possible renewal of hostilities.
"The Islamic Republic's army has treated the ceasefire period as a time of war and used the opportunity to strengthen its combat power," said Army spokesman Brigadier Gen Mohammad Akraminia, and warned that should the US or Israel launch another attack, Tehran "will open new fronts against them using new tools and methods," he said, without specifying what those methods could involve.
He added that "the only path for the enemy is to respect the Iranian nation and uphold Iran's legitimate rights".
