Beed, Oct 15 (UNI) Prominent OBC leader and former Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde today announced that he will attend the ‘Maha Yalghar Sabha’ scheduled to take place in Beed city on October 17.
The rally will be led by Samata Parishad founder and senior minister Chhagan Bhujbal.
Speaking to media representatives, Munde said that Advocate Subhash Rawat had formally invited him to the event during a meeting in Parli, while Chhagan Bhujbal also personally contacted him over the phone to request his presence.

Maha: Farmer mauled to death by tiger in Chandrapur

Chandrapur, Nov 6 (UNI) A farmer was killed by a tiger on Thursday while picking cotton in a field near Amboli Road in Chimur tehsil of Maharashtra's Chandrapur district, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Eeshwar Bharde, a local resident.
According to the officials, tiger sightings had been frequent in the area over the past few days. However, the animal attacked Bharde while he was working in the field, killing him on the spot.
