Srinagar, Aug 15 (UNI) Eleven civil, police and doctors were granted Lt Governor’s gold medal for honesty, integrity and meritorious public service on the 74th Independence Day-2020, an official spokesman said on Saturday.
He said General Administration Department (GAD) in an order number 762-JK (GAD) of 2020 said that sanction is hereby accorded to the grant of Lieutenant Governor's Award for Honesty, Integrity & Meritorious Public Service for the year, 2020, in favour of eleven officers in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the awardees will be given cash Rs 51,000, a citation and a certificate.
The officers included Dr Mohit Gera, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator, Anand Jain, Director, Anti Corruption Bureau, Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani, Special Secretary, Finance, Vikas Sharma, KAS, Director, Geology & Mining, Indu Kanwal Chib, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Abdul Salam Mir, KAS Director Sheep Husbandry, Ram Savak, KAS, Director Horticulture, lammu, M Y Itoo, Director General (Budget), Finance Department), Rajeshwar Singh, JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, AIG, Personnel, Police Headquarter, J&K, Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Prof & HoD (Department of Micro Biology, GMC, (Jammu) and Dr Anjum Farhana, Prof & HoD (Department of Micro Biology, GMC, (Srinagar).
