J&K: Police detains hardcore OGW in Doda

Jammu, Dec 4 (UNI) In a crackdown on anti-national elements and to curb terror-related activities in the state, police on Wednesday detained a hardcore over ground worker (OGW) in Doda district under Public Safety Act (PSA).
Accused Mohd Irfan of Kanhal Bajarni in Bhagwah tehsil of Doda district under the Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged him in jail following a detention order issued by the district magistrate, Doda, police said.
The accused was involved in unlawful activities and was promoting the network of terrorism and was making a desperate attempt to revive militancy in Doda district at the behest of terror handlers operating from across the border.
