J&K: Six booked for "instigative content" on social media

Srinagar, Dec 1 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday initiated legal action against six persons for allegedly disseminating "false information" and promoting "instigative content" on various social media platforms.

A police post on X said legal action under relevant sections of law has been taken.

UP govt raises maintenance amount to Rs 50 per day for destitute cows

Prayagraj, Feb 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Dharampal Singh on Saturday said that in order to give priority to cow protection, the Uttar Pradesh government has provided shelter to 12,43,623 destitute cows in 7,713 cow shelters and the amount given for their maintenance has been increased from Rs 30 per day per cow to Rs 50 per day.
