Jammu police nabs Punjab origin drug peddler with 500 gms of heroin

Jammu, June 20 (UNI) Police on Thursday arrested one Punjab based drug peddler with contraband of heroin in Miran Sahib area here in the city outskirts.
Police said that continuing its drive against drug trafficking under Operation Sanjeevani a major success has been achieved by recovering 500 grams of heroin worth several lakhs from one drug peddler at Kotli Mian Fateh in Miran Sahib during a routine checking.
A suspected person as Lal Hussain of Jalandhar, Punjab was detained and during frisking, 500 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
