Hyderabad, Jan 27 (UNI) Former vice president M Venkaiah Naidu said that Jamuna known as ‘Satyabhama of the silver screen’, the roles she played were symbols of self-confidence and women empowerment.
On Twitter, Naidu said ‘I inquired knowing that the famous actress Mrs Jamuna had passed away.
‘My condolences to her family and fans, praying for her soul to rest in peace, he tweeted.
According to family sources, the mortal remains of senior actress Jamuna will be brought to the Film Chamber in Hyderabad for her fans to pay their last respects.
Some of the actors of Tollywood have condoled the death of the senior actress and reminded their associations and her contribution towards the film industry.
