Jarkiholi sparks debate, demands leadership change clarity

Bengaluru, Jan 15 (UNI) Karnataka Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Satish Jarkiholi on Wednesday sparked a new debate over the leadership of the state Congress by revealing that there were talks and a written note from AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal suggesting a possible change in the state Congress president's position after the Lok Sabha elections.
"Earlier discussions and a written note from KC Venugopal indicated a potential change in the state president post following the Lok Sabha elections," Jarkiholi revealed.
Jarkiholi also called for clarification from the party leadership on whether the current state president, DK Shivakumar, will continue in his role or if a leadership change is on the way.
