Jharkhand Congress accuses BJP of 'selling mandate' in Rajya Sabha poll

Ranchi, June 11 (UNI) Jharkhand Congress spokesperson Sonal Shanti on Thursday accused the BJP of compromising the people's mandate by extending support to an industrialist-backed candidate in the ongoing Rajya Sabha election and demanded an apology from senior BJP leaders.
In a statement, Shanti alleged that the BJP leadership had abandoned the interests of voters and facilitated the candidature of independent Rajya Sabha nominee Parimal Nathwani.
