Jharkhand Congress launches statewide campaign against ‘Vote Theft’ with candle march

Ranchi, Aug 14 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) today launched its state-wide public awareness campaign against alleged “vote theft” with a candle march from the Congress Bhavan to Albert Ekka Chowk here, led by state party president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh.
Addressing the gathering, Kamlesh alleged that the theft of voters’ rights was a betrayal of the Constitution and accused the BJP of distorting the meaning of democracy while mocking constitutional norms.
He said revelations made by Rahul Gandhi had raised serious questions over the Centre’s credibility, and accused the BJP of forming governments through “lies, deceit and theft” in collusion with wealthy interests.
