Jharkhand: Health Department plans trauma centres at 49 locations across state

Ranchi, Dec 15 (UNI) Trauma centers would be established at 49 locations across the state and will be equipped with trained doctors, nurses, technicians and life-saving machines, as part of the comprehensive plan to strengthen emergency healthcare services.
The announced was made during a review meeting of the Health Department held on Monday, focusing on hospital rejuvenation and infrastructure improvement.
In addition, the helath department has set a target to establish a 10-bedded ICU in every district along with one Tele-ICU facility. The Tele-ICU services are currently operational at five locations, where patients are being examined remotely and monitored by specialists from RIMS, Ranchi.

Service tenure of emergency response vehicle drivers extended by one year: Choudhary
