Jubilee Hills bypoll in Telangana: expenditure observe appointed

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) With the nomination process beginning on October 13, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed Sanjiv Kumar Lal, IRS (2014 batch), as the Expenditure Observer for the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency by-election, to be held on November 11.
The Expenditure Observer will oversee and monitor the election expenditure process, ensuring strict compliance with ECI guidelines to maintain transparency and curb the influence of money power in the electoral process, an official release said on Sunday.
The prestigious Jubilee Hills by-election, expected to be one of the most expensive in Telangana, has an official expenditure cap of ₹40 lakh per candidate.
