Kabutar Khana protest turns political as police detain Marathi group

Mumbai, Aug 13 (UNI) Mumbai Police today detained members of the Marathi Ekta Samiti at Dadar Kabutar Khana when they were protesting, demanding strict enforcement of the pigeon-feeding ban.
The activists were taken to Dadar Police Station.
Detained members questioned police impartiality. "Where were the police on August 6 when Jain community members protested? Why no action against them?"
