Kakinada: NDRF team to impart training on disaster management

Kakinada, Aug 8 (UNI) Disaster management department district project manager M Lavanya said that exercises on disaster management would be organised in the district, and already an NDRF team has arrived from Vijayawada.
Addressing the revenue officials along with NDRF team commander Manmohan Yadav at a meeting held at the Collectorate here on Thursday, she said awareness on disasters and imparting training on the precautions to be taken and also on facing the consequences of the disasters and natural calamities would be given by the NDRF team.
The training will be imparted to people, students, hospital staff, and chemical industry staff.
