Kamal Nath slams BJP govt in MP

Bhopal, Sep 12 (UNI) Veteran Congress leader and Madhya Pradesh's erstwhile Chief Minister Kamal Nath today accused the state's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dispensation of constant malicious behaviour towards peasants.
"The ryot is bearing harassment at every level, but the Congress shall struggle for his rights and ensure justice. In many districts, cultivators are vexed over excessive rainfall, but proper assistance was not extended by the government.
For the past couple of months, the farmer has been going from pillar to post for fertiliser, but the BJP government could not supply the same.

Amit Shah in Bastar for key security meet

Jagdalpur, May 18 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in southern Chhattisgarh on Monday on a two-day visit. He is in Bastar to review security, development and administrative coordination in the region. His visit comes at a time when Maoist activity has seen a significant decline, with the government highlighting a shift towards stability and development in the region.
Before heading to Bastar, Shah launched the upgraded ‘Next Generation Dial-112’ emergency response service at the police parade ground in Mana, Raipur.
