KSCA misstating facts on poll delay, claims poll contestant

Bengaluru, Nov 17 (UNI) AV Shashidara, who is contesting for KSCA joint secretary post, on Monday accused the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) of misrepresenting facts on the postponement of its upcoming elections, asserting that neither the civil court nor any party had sought a stay on the poll process.
In a detailed statement issued in response to the KSCA's press release, Shashidara said the Electoral Officer had postponed the elections through a formal notification, expressing displeasure over the Managing Committee's failure to respond to his communications on time and its silence on ongoing court matters.
The officer had also pointed to confusion among members and asked the Managing Committee to clear the uncertainty before conducting elections.
