Kyiv lost 315 troops, 54 military vehicles in offensive attempt in Kursk

Moscow, Aug 7 (UNI) Ukrainian troops, who attempted an offensive in Russia's Kursk region, have lost 315 troops, including at least 100 killed, and 54 units of military equipment, including seven tanks, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov said on Wednesday.
During a meeting held by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, Gerasimov said that units of the Ukrainian armed forces of up to 1,000 people attempted an offensive at 5:30 a.m. Moscow time (02:30 GMT) on August 6 to seize territory in the Kursk Region.
"The enemy's losses were 315 people, including at least 100 killed and 215 people wounded. Fifty-four armored vehicles were destroyed, including seven tanks," the military chief told the meeting.
