Lajong launch video to promote North East

Shillong, Oct 23 (UNI) North Eastern I-League club Shillong Lajong FC has taken an initiative to promote North East as a unique destination for tourism by launching an online video series that celebrates the beauty of this corner of the country.
"Using our Facebook and YouTube handles as a medium, the ‘Lajong Amazing North East Diaries’ will take viewers on a journey through some of the best places to visit in the North East sister states featuring local Lajong players," the Club statement stated here today. Yesterday, the Club launched a sneak peek of the " Lajong Amazing North East Diaries" on the Facebook page(@ShillongLajongFC) and YouTube Channel (@SLFCOfficial), and the first video in the series, on Mizoram, will be screened on October 29. Highlights from the inaugural diary take viewers to the beautiful Aizawl city.
The Lajong family comprises players from all eight states of the North Eastern region and team members put away their football boots to take on the role of guides and ambassadors of their respective home states, using their local knowledge and experience to highlight must-see locations in this exciting and informative online travel series.
