Land, job guarantees more important for Jammu: J&K Cong

Jammu, Nov10 (UNI) Hitting out at BJP for ‘misleading’ people on the recent resolution which seeks special status for the protection of land, jobs, natural resources, and cultural identity, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma on Sunday said that land, jobs protections are more important for Jammu region.
Accusing BJP of misleading people on the issue of the recent resolution passed by the Assembly seeking special status, Sharma in a statement said that the BJP can go to any extent to befool people on the emotional issues, as there is no mention of Art 370, 35-A but BJP top leadership cried hoarse to mislead the nation against the Congress party in the wake of Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections.
Sharma said that Congress stands committed to fighting for restoration of full statehood with special status to safeguard land jobs, natural resources, and the cultural identity likewise available in Himachal Pradesh and over a dozen other states of the country including Northeastern states.
