Landslide: Chief Minister PS Tamang gives Rs 2 Lakhs each to 48 displaced families in North Sikkim

Gangtok,Jun 29 (UNI) Chief Minister PS Tamang on Monday visited Dzongu in North Sikkim to take stock of the devastation caused by flash floods triggered heavy rains in Passingdong.
The chief minister announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the 48 affected families from Chief Minister's Relief Fund and Rs 1.19 lakh from Disaster Relief Fund.
He missed all other programmes today in order to visit the affected people who have been evacuated and provided food and shelter.
