Last day to register for free pilgrimage to Sri Hazur Sahib under Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana

Chandigarh, May 11 (UNI) May 11 marked the final opportunity for eligible senior citizens in Haryana to register for a free pilgrimage to Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib in Nanded, Maharashtra, under the state government's Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana.
A special train is scheduled to depart from Sirsa on May 15 to facilitate this journey.
According to a government spokesperson, this scheme specifically targets senior citizens above the age of 60 whose annual family income is less than ₹1.80 lakh. Registration for this complimentary pilgrimage is open until the end of the day on May 10. Interested and eligible individuals can register via the Saral Haryana portal, accessible through nearby Common Service Centres (CSCs) or their smartphones from the comfort of their homes.

According to Police, a viral video that came to the notice of Police Station Sadar, Gurugram, on June 17 showed a Thar driver speeding on the busy Sohna-Gurugram Road and overtaking other vehicles recklessly, posing a serious threat to public safety.
