LIBF Expo 2026 to draw strong global participation at Jio World Centre

Mumbai, Jan 20 (UNI) Mumbai is set to host a major global business gathering with the Lohana International Business Forum scheduled to organise LIBF Expo 2026 from January 30 to February 1, at the Jio World Convention Centre. The three-day event is expected to attract strong participation from global businesses, professionals, entrepreneurs, startups and institutions.
Positioned as a future-focussed, multi-sector platform, LIBF Expo 2026 will be spread across approximately 1.7 lakh square feet and feature more than 200 exhibitors representing over 20 sectors, including manufacturing, MSMEs, real estate, healthcare, technology, education and allied industries. The event is open to participants across backgrounds, including investors, job seekers and professionals.
Organisers said the Expo will see significant international participation, with exhibitors, business delegations and entrepreneurs from Africa, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Australia and other regions. This global presence is expected to create opportunities for cross-border partnerships, sourcing, investments and joint ventures.

BMC targets major tax defaulters owing ₹1,500 crore, Seizure notices served to 48 entities

Mumbai, Feb 14 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has intensified its action against large property tax defaulters, issuing seizure notices to 48 major entities within a week over outstanding dues amounting to Rs 1,500 crore. On Saturday, the civic body released a fresh list naming the 20 biggest defaulters, which include prominent real estate developers, mills and other establishments that have collectively failed to clear substantial arrears.
