Low pressure likely to form over Southwest Bay of Bengal in next 24 hours: Met

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 11 (UNI) The cyclonic circulation over Southwest Bay of Bengal persists over the same area and now extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height at 0830 hours on Monday.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same area during the next 24 hours.
Thereafter, it is likely to move slowly nearly westwards towards Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka coasts during the subsequent 2 days, Meteorological Centre said.
