LS concludes debate on intolerance amid Oppn walk-out ; Govt assures of CBI probe

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) The two-day debate on the contentious issue of intolerance in Lok Sabha- that was marred by charges and counter-charges, spells of uproar and finally walk-out by most of the Opposition parties- today ended with an assurance from Home Minister Rajnath Singh of a CBI probe in the incidents provided the proposals come from states concerned.
While the ruling benches, including the Home Minister, his Deputy Kiren Rijiju and many members of allies or friendly parties viewed 'hue and cry" by the Opposition on so called incidents as false projection in a bad light that is tarnishing the reputation of the country, the Opposition benches advised the Government not to ignore such incidents and "crush voices" and moves of protesting people.
All those raising voices are not bent upon defaming the government, don't doubt them. Listen to the dissenting voice, Opposition members, including Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi suggested.
There is no row at position 0.
