Luminous to set two new Greenfield plants at Uttarakhand & Odisha

Hyderabad, Apr 1 (UNI) In order to expand its geographic footprint, Luminous Power Technologies ,a subsidiary of French Industrial giant Schneider Electric, to set up two new Greenfield plants at Uttarakhand and Odisha.
Addressing after launching Icon and High capacity inverter range strategically positioned to cater to residential and commercial segments respectively here on Saturday, Luminous Senior Vice President (manufacturing and Global Supply Chain) Rajiv Ganju said that the Uttarakhand facility is to manufacture solar panel and with the commencement of this factory, Luminous would establish its first facility in solar panel in the country.
However, the second battery based manufacturing unit coming up in the eastern part of India at Odisha, he said currently, the company has six modern manufacturing units with more than 28 branch offices in the country and a presence of over 40 countries.
