Maha: 8 dead, 5 injured in Ordnance factory blast in Bhandara

Bhandara, Jan 24 (UNI) As many as eight people died and five others were injured after a blast in the Ordnance Factory here in Bhandara district of Maharashtra on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Ordnance Factory Bhandara, a massive explosion suddenly occurred in the HEX (High Energy Explosive) Department (LTPE) of the factory at about 10.40 am in LTPE Building No. 23.
Immediately after the explosion, the factory's rescue and relief team, fire brigade team and medical team reached the spot and started the rescue operation at a rapid pace.
