Maha: Adv Faiz Syed emphasises constitutional compliance for safeguarding mosques

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Dec 6 (UNI) A meeting focused on the protection of mosques was held on Friday night at Alamgir Hall Baitul Yatim in Qila Arak, organised by the ‘Muslim Numainda Council’ (The All-party federation) Ch.Sambhajinagar to mark the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolision. The programme featured discussions on mosque safeguarding, legal procedures, key court decisions, and the broader national context.
The event began with a recitation from the Quran by Maulana Shafiq Milli, followed by a Naat presented by Muhammad Uqba. Several speakers later addressed the gathering, each highlighting the need to strengthen mosque protection efforts.
Advocate Faiz Syed, Vice President of the Council and Founder-President of Islamic Research Centre (IRC), underscored the religious and functional importance of mosques. He emphasised that organisational discipline and adherence to constitutional provisions are essential for safeguarding places of worship. He advised that all required legal documentation, including principal papers and registration on the government’s Umeed portal, should be kept complete to ensure compliance.
