Maha Cabinet approves bamboo policy, high court posts, Rs 500 crore for education

Mumbai, Oct 14 ( UNI) The Maharashtra Cabinet today concluded its meeting with several important decisions, even as the political atmosphere intensifies ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
Separately, opposition leaders, including those from the Maha Vikas Aghadi and MNS chief Raj Thackeray, visited the State Election Commission office to point out discrepancies in the voter lists.
However, the Cabinet proceeded to approve key measures such as a new policy to promote the bamboo industry, the creation of new posts for the Bombay High Court, and a special development plan for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s People’s Education Society. These decisions are expected to accelerate the state’s economic, judicial, and social development.
