Maha: Cabinet decides to give Rs 10 lakh for accidental death of Asha volunteers

Mumbai, Jul 23 (UNI) The Maharashtra Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on Tuesday took six important decisions including one related to Asha volunteers.
The government decided to give Rs 10 lakh as assistance in case of accidental death of an Asha volunteer while on duty and Rs five lakh in case of permanent disability.
This decision was taken to provide financial assistance to them in case of accidental death or disability while doing duty.
