Maha: Minister Lodha, MLA Sheikh clash over Malvani school dispute

Nagpur, Dec 10 (UNI) A heated exchange took place in the Maharashtra Assembly on Wednesday between Guardian Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha and MLA Aslam Sheikh over a school-related dispute in Malvani. The conflict centres on the adoption of a local school under the municipal corporation’s policy.
Sheikh claimed that teachers at a functioning CBSE school in his constituency were removed following the policy, sparking protests from parents who feared fee imposition, though no fees were actually charged.
Responding on behalf of the government, Guardian Minister Lodha said he had visited the site and clarified the misunderstanding to parents.

Sena minister’s son surrenders after HC rap in Mahad poll violence case
